Chainalysis sanctions listings
Chainalysis is a blockchain analytics company. It publishes a sanctions list to a contract on each of several blockchains, and writes to that contract when the list changes. What is shown here is a record of those writes: each one dated, with the transaction that made it. It is not a government sanctions list, and it is not a check this site performed.
Chainalysis has published 1,640 listings covering 185 addresses, written in 427 separate reports across 8 chains, between 10 March 2022 and 18 March 2026. 582 removals covering 91 addresses are recorded on the same contracts.
Chainalysis publishes to 8 chains: Ethereum, Avalanche, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Celo, Base, Polygon, Optimism.
Chainalysis publishes the list separately on every chain it covers, so a single address is normally listed several times — once per chain. Every listed address in this record appears on at least 2 chains, and 166 of the 185 appear on six or more. An address is the same account on each of these chains, so those repeats are one address recorded in several places, not several different addresses.
Each Chainalysis report is its own on-chain record with its own transaction, block and date, so all of them are shown rather than merged into one. That is what makes each line checkable against the chain.

August 2026 is still being recorded. Its figures cover 17 August 2026 and earlier, and they will grow as the month runs — so they are not a monthly total. Every earlier month is closed and its figures are fixed.
